Undecided as to which day to go to Lovebox? Look no further with TFF’s preview of this weekend’s festival taking place Friday 15, Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 June.

If you're contemplating a day at Lovebox Festival this weekend but unsure of which one to pick then look no further. Each day has its own character so there's something for everyone from Friday to Sunday. With a healthy price tag of £30 a day, it's a great way for Londoners and commuters to celebrate the Summer and get a good serving of fresh new music mixed with some strong iconic classics.

Friday is all about electro at 'London's Biggest Disco' - aptly curated as 'Bang The Box' it all kicks off with a bangin' day topped by Hot Chip and Crystal Castles. There is no doubt the crowds will be feeling the beat with some sensational dub step from Magnetic Man and Sub Focus. Look out for French electro DJ-producer Madeon and disco rock trio We Have Band.

There should be some cracking DJ sets on the Friday with a special combo between Micachu and Kwes. There's sure to be some bass pumping into East London throughout the whole day - TFF recommends Jaguar Skills and Blondes.

Indie vibes and tropical beats are rocking the Saturday ‘Music Safari’ bill with Friendly Fires headlining. Also Groove Armada are playing a 10th birthday exclusive which will be a unique celebration of some classics. Hotly anticipated Emeli Sande also plays on Saturday night. Up and coming stars Dot Rotten, We were evergreen and Little Dragon are a must-see.

We've noticed Mel Blatt's on the bill and there's definitely some 90s vibes knocking about with Shola Ama sneaking on to Friday's bill...

In fact there’s some great 80s sha-bang moving into Sunday with Chaka Khan bringing her disco feeling to the Day 3 bill. Even if it rains, tunes such as Ain’t Nobody and I’m Every Woman promise to bring some rays of light to Victoria Park.

And of course, if you happened to miss her at the Queen’s Jubilee gig (how the HELL did you manage that) well now you can see her live. We don’t promise she will be hula hooping this time but as Sunday’s headliner she can almost be guaranteed to be wearing some fabulous outfit.

But anyway, back to the music, TFF is most looking forward to Lana del Rey, with fingers crossed that she surpasses expectations as a live singer and really belts out those scorchers of new hits such as Blue Jeans and Born to Die. Anthems!

Sunday is titled ‘Out and Out Fire’ and is crammed with fabulous artists. We can’t think of any way we would rather spend a Sunday. For feel good beats there’s the likes of Mika and Sam Sparro.

TFF loves Patrick Wolf, Trailer Trash and Horse Meat Disco. There’s plenty more artists that sound good but we spent so much time trying to plan for TGE in Brighton that we are ready to follow our festival ears and see what Lovebox holds for us.

Art, fashion, street theatre, cabaret and cirque also grace this super London celebration. Be prepared for a great festival atmosphere with easy transport links and no camping (some will be pleased to hear!)

TFF is lucky enough to be going to the whole of Lovebox Festival but our verdict is, if you are picking just one day – go for Sunday!!
